Matrix Switch for the L-Band

The product line of L-Band matrix switches from DEV Systemtechnik includes sizes from 4×4 matrices in various configurations up to 64×64 ports. The system can be expanded to a cluster with 2048×2048 ports. Our L-band matrix switches allow flexible switching of a range of input signals to none, one or more output ports. Optical and electrical inputs are available for this purpose.

Unique options for redundancy and monitoring provide great flexibility and reliability. The LNB power supply option for each RF input port is capable of delivering switchable LNB power. An additional switchable output port and an integrated Spectrum Analyzer (ISA) allow permanent monitoring of the system. The graphical local user interface allows easy and convenient control.

Transmitter and receiver (links)

Optribution 

Optribution enables the direct optical transmission of analogue RF signals via optical fibre – from the VHF/UHF or L-band, depending on the model. This allows both terrestrial and satellite signals to be converted. A direct connection to an optical LNB is possible. 16 different CWDM wavelengths, or 48 different DWDM wavelengths can be used to be transmitted over a single optical fibre after a multiplexer (dark fibre). For further signal distribution, the Optribution System offers splitters, amplifiers, redundancy switches and various housings.

The system is modular and allows complex circuits. The redundant configurations and monitoring functions such as SNMP ensure reliable signal transport over long distances of up to 200 km.

Remote-MACPHY Node for Distributed-CCAP 

The Distributed CCAP Node is a high-performance and cost-effective cable network edge device, which is designed based on CableLabs’ DOCSIS 3.1 standards and compatible with DOCSIS 3.0, 2.0, C- and Euro-DOCSIS. It supports Distributed Access Architectures (DAA) and can be operated remotely. With DOCSIS, PacketCable/PCMM Edge-QAM and optical receiver it is suited for all applications including internet, voice, VOD and CATV. The Edge-QAM function is ideal for converting IPTV programs into DVB-C, which are delivered as MPTS. With its modular structure it is easy to change parts of the Distributed CCAP DOCSIS 3.1 Node.

Remote-MACPHY for Distributed-CCAP (Indoor)

The Distributed-CCAP-Node is also available as indoor version DEV 6811. The Distributed CCAP DOCSIS 3.1 Indoor Node comes in a 1 rack unit frame.
